These last almost as long as the expensive ones, they stay strait just as well, and cut very well. Even though the blade will dull slightly faster (i didn't really notice this until i measured the cuts and compared, it's not much), the amount of cut per dollar is higher than the expensive blades, and the amount of efficient cutting per dollar is higher too, since you are working with a fresher blade more of the time.To put it in perspective, the guys that were doing the demo work did not reach 6 inches further to get the expensive blades, they just grabbed these (they were both sitting on the supplies table). These guys hate changing blades and such, because they see it as wasted time, so for these to choose these much more economical blades tells me that I'll be buying these more often. One note, they come with an expandable blade case, but the plastic is "so-so", you probably won't be keeping the case and putting more blades in it like you would some similar cases that you buy separately, but at this price, the case is, essentially, a freebie with the blades, so it's much appreciated.
