I bought this for my 12" Dewalt compound miter saw. This blade cuts aluminum like it was wood.
Granted, I'm not a sawblade aficionado so I can't give you great comparisons to other high-end blades. But to my amateur eye this blade looks great and cuts great. I was able to go through aluminum with no issues.
The 12-inch TCG 96-tooth industrial finish saw blade is a versatile and durable tool ideal for woodworking projects, providing outstanding performance on softwood, hardwood, and plywood surfaces. Its Triple Chip Grind (TCG) tooth geometry ensures long-lasting sharpness and reduces wear. The high 96-tooth count offers smooth, splinter-free cuts, even in thicker materials, while maintaining a fast cut rate at high RPMs. Made from carbide steel, this blade runs cool to prevent overheating and splintering, reducing vibration and noise for smoother operation. The 1-inch bore fits most radial arm, miter, and stationary table saws, making it highly compatible and versatile for DIY enthusiasts, contractors, finish carpenters, furniture makers, and cabinet professionals. Its design not only enhances cutting efficiency but also contributes to tool longevity and user safety, making it an indispensable addition to any workshop.
Never thought my life as a band dad for two music-loving teenagers would involve prop building, but here I am. Freshly recruited to the high school marching band's props committee, I'm facing the challenge of creating lightweight, portable climbing poles and ramps for the fall program. Budget is tight, and the materials need to be easy to handle. Enter the FOXBC 12-Inch Aluminum Saw Blade – a beacon of hope for this DIY novice.
I'm rather new to the whole power-tools DIY home renovations scene so I'm reviewing this blade as a weekend dabbler, not as a professional.
Research revealed that we needed a much finer-toothed saw blade for the basement PVC baseboards than the 40-tooth blade we've been using for the wooden baseboards. When I priced 80-tooth blades my jaw dropped! So you better believe I jumped on this sub-$40 96-tooth blade.
This FOXBC 12" blade does a beautiful job on the PVC. Clean, smooth cuts. No chipping. My skills passable; I appreciate the way this blade made me look like I know my way around a chop saw.
Up until this point, I'd just been using the 40-tooth Dewalt blade that came on my new miter saw. I was nervous about my first blade change because I'm not as strong as I used to be (60yo female). But one YouTube video later and I had my new blade up and running.
When I was installing this blade I was worried because I didn't think it had holes for the spindle lock. The spindle lock holes are very obvious on the Dewalt blade. I was hesitant to tighten the bolt and make the commitment with the FOXBC blade because I knew I'd never get it off again with the spindle lock. But I was wrong -- the holes are right there on the blade, in the right place. I'm not saying it'll be a piece of cake the next time I switch blades but any challenges I face will be due to arthritic hands, not the blade.
TL;DR - based on my experience cutting PVC molding & baseboard, this is a fantastic blade at a fantastic price. I'd definitely order it again.
Bonus points: blade doesn't come in that impossible-to-open stiff plastic packaging. Open the box, remove the blade guard, and go.
UPDATE: this blade worked great on my wood baseboards, too. I went slowly to avoid clogging the blade. The cuts are incredibly smooth; I got no splintering or burning.

from 1501 reviewsVery very satisfied with this purchase! Talk about a game changer! Noise difference is unbelievable! Not to mention how well it cuts! Installation was pretty simple and straight forward. Fit perfectly and works even better!
It worked great! It cut straight and clean on a piece of 1 1/4" heavy DOM. Went nice a smooth with no heating of the part. For the money, this is a good deal.
If you need an everyday construction site set of blades, look no further than these. I cut approximately 30 brace blocks from 2x4s for a deck. One blade did 60 cuts like the first cut. I even did a one vertical cut on a 2x8 at the end. All were done on pressure treated lumber, I’m impressed. Can’t beat the price and I will be ordering more. 6/12 tpi for those who want to know.
These work like any other blade that I have purchased. I have not necessarily found any great difference between the most expensive brands and the lower priced brands since I tend to challenge the blade with all types of materials. I would lump this in the mix and buy these based upon the price. At a dollar and a half, for each blade, these are on the very affordable side of what is available. I have sometimes used long metal blades for demolition if I have a large amount of metal embedded (could be conduit, etc.).
I don't often review but I have gone through many planer blade sets for this planer. I'm very glad there is an exact fit replacement as it seems Dewalt has stopped selling blade replacements. These seem to be an exact fit. All dimensions are exact except they are consistently .02 grams heavier and there's no pyramid stamp. I only did the weight because I could not find discrepancies (LxWxHxT). I read a review that they are not as good as the original, don't last as long. May be slightly softer material, IDK...TBD. I will get back to you on this. For now I am giving it 5 stars. I'm on my 9th double pack of blades from Dewalt. That's 4 blade sets per double pack. 36 blade changes. Excellent planer. Glad FoxBC picked up this replacement part.Price = matchesFit = matchesLife & cut = TBDHope this helps, Cheers!
FOXBC 9 Inch 6/12 TPI Demolition Reciprocating Saw Blades for Nail-Embedded Wood, Bi-Metal, 25-Pack with Case --- Received 25 blades as advertised. Haven’t had occasion to use one yet but they are thinner metal, but solid and sharp. Demolition blades are usually bulkier than these. Fit easily into my Dewalt battery operated reciprocating. saw. Plastic case is adequate for keeping them together but doesn’t look like it would take much abuse.
Partial review only, as I need to put these through their paces. The blades are well formed and have no obvious flaws. No curves, errors, etc. The case could use a bit more strength, though, as both pieces of mine are cracked.
I have an old craftsman jointer that desperately needed blades. I bought these and am super happy. Swapped the old ones out and the jointer is back to life. Blades were dharp and flat which is all that's necessary. I'll buy this brand again when I need another set!
Will get dull a little faster then their heated counterparts. However for the first time in 5 sets of blade I’ve just rotated these and did not see a single chip in the blades. This usually happens with any other blades I’ve tried including original DW735 13” blades.
Im going to use these from now on only, needs to be rotated just a little more often, but at the price point they are great. If you start questioning their performance then rotate/replace and go again with a fresh cut. 5 stars!

These last almost as long as the expensive ones, they stay strait just as well, and cut very well. Even though the blade will dull slightly faster (i didn't really notice this until i measured the cuts and compared, it's not much), the amount of cut per dollar is higher than the expensive blades, and the amount of efficient cutting per dollar is higher too, since you are working with a fresher blade more of the time.To put it in perspective, the guys that were doing the demo work did not reach 6 inches further to get the expensive blades, they just grabbed these (they were both sitting on the supplies table). These guys hate changing blades and such, because they see it as wasted time, so for these to choose these much more economical blades tells me that I'll be buying these more often. One note, they come with an expandable blade case, but the plastic is "so-so", you probably won't be keeping the case and putting more blades in it like you would some similar cases that you buy separately, but at this price, the case is, essentially, a freebie with the blades, so it's much appreciated.
Quality. Good weight
there are more expensive, higher quality blades available, but this is still a great crosscutting blade and very much worth the money.
I got this for planning old rough Purple Heart after I destroyed the factory knifes ..I’ve excluded before and after photos with no sanding straight out of the planner
Nice container. Worth restoring with a bit of duct tape.I like to test these kinds of saw blades in a hand-powered handle and in a basic battery-powered saw. This gives me a pretty good idea of how well they perform without too easily overheating, which is murder on cutting edges.I'm not sure it shows very well in these pictures, but the kerf produced by hand cutting is wider than that produced with a power saw. I would have liked to see a bit wider kerf, which would have allowed the coating of these blades to last a bit longer than it does. The steel I cut was a medium hard framing steel, as was the deck screw, which is much harder than typical wood fasteners.I'd choose a bimetal blade with 8-tpi for wood demolition unless a lot of deck screws are involved. These blades are best suited for metal, as described.I was able to make a low angle plunge cut in wood and soft metal. For harder metals intended it be cut with this blade, a plunge cut can be started with a Dremel tool pretty easily.Recommended on price and general utility.
Works great
